Campos Coffee opened shop at the Park City this December for its first permanent flagship outside of Australia.

Campos Coffee decided to settle down in Park City because of residents' activity in community service and commitment to the environment.  Campos is not only known for their quality products, but also their good ethics and world-wide philanthropic efforts.

Campos Coffee Founder Will Young says that Park City’s inclusive and welcoming community that cares about the environment is a perfect extension of the Campos Coffee brand.

For a lot of Park City's Australian visitors and residents, Campos Coffee will taste like home.  Ian Pope, General Manager of Park City’s Campos Coffee, moved here from down under and brought with him the Campos unique Aussie flavor.

“We specialize in coffee that tastes like coffee,” says Pope, “Not vanilla, chocolate, or hazelnut.”  Drinks of choice at Campos include flat whites, cappuccinos, babycinos, and affogatos.

The company takes pride in the quality of their beans, roasting, testing, and measuring the balance of each flavor.  Pope says the flavor of Campos Coffee does not need to be masked by cream and sugar.

Other Australian-esque treats include the Leamington donut and a type of toasted sandwich called a “jaffle” stuffed with Vegemite, enjoyed by even the Americans!  But the crowd favorite at Campos is the Avocado Toast, served on artisanal bread with freshly smashed avocado.

Once making the move to the area, the company decided to source some of their ingredients and products from local bakeries and shops.  Campos sells Mamachari Kombucha, made locally in Salt Lake, and all-natural hand-crafted donuts from Naughty Donuts, from here in Park City.

The café is located mid-level in the Park City base area plaza, next to Shirt Off My Back.  Just outside of the shop is a snow patio with beach chairs perfect for sipping coffee or hot chocolate in front of a beautiful view of the mountains.  I can't think of a better place to be on a bluebird day at lunch time.
