Time For Your Mid-Season Tune Up

The winter so far has satisfied the powder-hound in all of us.  Several powder days in a row left many of us with very little time off of our skis and snowboards.  Shredding became the priority and any one that thought differently was left behind.  Sick days were used, long underwear and socks went unwashed, and boot dryers were set on high.

And if you’re like me, the excitement of being on the mountain every day let tuning and gear repair slip through the cracks.

No matter how good your equipment is, skiing or riding on un-waxed or dull equipment makes getting around the mountain more difficult.  They do not perform as well and continued damage can lessen the life of your skis or snowboard.

Now that we have a mid-season break between storms, it is time to let the hot wax soak in, sharpen your edges, and make any repairs to keep you going!

Park City’s Canyon Mountain Sports and Legacy Sports are both slopeside to the resort and conveniently located near many hotels in town.  Our technicians utilize heavy machinery and hand crafting to provide the best performance out of your equipment.

Waxing your skis or snowboard regularly is recommended, as well as a professional tuning and repair service because tuned equipment is safe equipment!  You will be able to ski or ride to your heart’s content knowing that your equipment is easy to control and fun to use.
