The mountains that we love so much when they're blanketed in white are just as fun when they're dressed in green.  Park City Mountain offers a variety of adventures and events throughout the summer, including scenic gondola rides, an array of mountain bike trails, and family activities surrounded by mountain views.  At both base areas, you'll find luxurious accommodations, gourmet dining, and outdoor concerts.  Each base area has its own lifts to access the upper part of the mountain and activities fit for the whole family in the village.

Park City Base Area

The Park City Base Area is a family-friendly spot perfect for kids of all ages.  Park City’s outdoor fun includes one of the world’s longest alpine slides and a 4,000 ft. coaster.  Kids love the specialty zip line, rope course, tubing, and brand new gem panning trough built just for them!  Plus, don’t forget that hiking and mountain biking trails are only a scenic lift ride away from the base.

Kids Activities:  Park City’s kid’s activities are perfect for your little adventurer!  The kid-sized activities, including a zip line, rope course, tubing, and gem panning, build confidence in a fun, safe environment.  The zip line is a smaller version of our larger zip lines, where kids get a thrill as they zip along at their own speed.  For the ropes course, your little one is fitted into their own safety gear and cross wooden logs suspended by ropes a few feet off the ground.  Kid's tubing is just like sliding down a snowy mountain, but in the warmth of summer!  The new gem panning area will feel like mining in the old west.  Take home your gemstones as souvenirs to a great day!

Alpine Coaster:  Take a ride through curves and hair-pin turns up to 30mph on an elevated track.

Alpine Slide:  On a luge-like track, take wheeled carts down a 3,000 ft. track along the side of the mountain.

Zip Lines:  The Park City Base Area has two zip lines, the ZipRider and Flying Eagle.  The ZipRider takes you above the treetops as you’re propelled 110 ft. at speeds up to 45 miles per hour.  The Flying Eagle runs on a two-person chair for a spectacular view over one of Park City's most popular ski runs.

Scenic Chair Lift:  Take a ride to top of the mountain, leading you to hiking and biking trails and a spectacular view of town.

Mountain Biking & Hiking:  Let the chairlift do the work by taking your bike up the mountain for you.  Then ride all the way down on a range of trails on the mountain.

Base Activities:  Near the base of Crescent and PayDay chairlifts, you can find plenty of ways to have fun with your friends and family!  Adventure Zone is built just for kids and has a range of activities that challenge and excite.  It includes a Spider Slide, Boulders, and Climbing Wall.  Also at the base is the Legacy Launcher.  Bounce, flip, and fly on a trampoline while attached to a safety harness that helps to get the most out of each jump.  The Miniature Golf Course is surrounded by mountain views.  This 18-hole course is the perfect place to entertain the family outside in the summer sun!
