It's no secret that the higher in elevation you climb, the more the temperature gradient drops, thus making Park City (situated at 6,800ft base elevation) the perfect spot to escape those sweltering summer days. On average, Park City is anywhere from 10-15 degrees cooler than Salt Lake City in the summertime. For those of you "down in the valley" (SLC), this means only a 30-minute drive separates the relationship you have with your AC unit in the sizzlin' city and the cool, shaded, adventures that await at Park City Mountain.

Most restaurants have outdoor seating right on Main Street allowing you to never miss a moment of the action. Catch the sunset, fill up the stomach and prepare for another day in paradise.
